CANCER (June 22nd to July 23rd)
> Cancerians have such control of imagery, and their moods are so intense, they can easily make you feel them too. Their imagination siezes joy and despair, horror and compassion, sorrow and ecstasy, and holds each emotion fast with a retentive memory. Like mirrors and cameras, they absorb images and reflect them faithfully. Every experience is engraved on the heart as a photograph is etched on a negative plate. They never forget any of the lessons life taught them, nor do they forget the lessons history taught mankind. Often collects atiques, old treasures and ancient relics and has an insatiable curiosity about yesterday. Cncer is a sort of mental archeaologist, always digging for more fascinating facts.
> Food somehow represents security to Cancerians. Just talking about food brings a rosy glow to their facial expression and stories of starvation gonna literally horrify them. They care deeply about the hungry, and feel a responsibilty towards every empty stomach in the world. Wasting food is a crime to them You will get second helpings you want, but be sure you clean up the plate first.
Well, That's all I have in my kitty for this sign. Keep tuned in for the remaining ones, readers!
CANCER (June 22nd to July 23rd)
> Notice the moon's changing shape and appearance. As it waxes and increases in light, it slowly glows perfect, round ball in the sky. When it wanes, it gradually disappears,so there's nothing visible but a thin silver light with a faint, silver hammer. The Cancerian's passing moods are synchronized to the moon, answering to the same mysterious lunar influence that cases the tides of the ocean to flow in and out. Yet, the moon doesn't really change at all. It just seems to. Likewise, the Cancerian remains the same person through all his fluctuating highs and lows. Sch dependable periodicity constant in its inconsistency makes the crab easy to recognize, once yo know the phase they're in when yo see them.
> You may first come across him when he's laughing the 'Crazy Lunar Laugh'. It's inescapably contagious. It runs up and down the scales with a deep, throaty undertone. It giggles, then finally erupts as a loud cackle that sounds exactly like two hundred hens laying two hundred perfect eggs. In his life-of-the-party-mood, you'll have no trouble finding the Cancerian. He'll be the funniest one in the room, a laugh a minute. Lunar humor runs deep, it never is shallow or superficial, 'coz it stems from the sensitive observation of the human behavior.
> These people don't pant after spotlight like the extrovert Leos or clownish Sagittarians, but have an uncanny sense of publicity, when it pleases them to be noticed. They secretly enjoy attention, and they'll soak up any headlines they get. Cancer may hide from things, but you can be sure that appreciation is not one of 'em.
> Their tears are never crocodile tears. They flow from the deep rivers of their fragile and vulnerable heart. Cruelty can bring on brimming eyes or a complete withdrawal. It wont be easy to spot a crab in this mood, because when they are hurt, they disappear into reproachable silence. Most of the time, however, they'll turn away from getting even, content to hide under their protective shell. Once you've wounded them, you can poke at 'em with a sharp stick for days afterwards and not reach 'em. They won't answer their phone, their doorbell or mail. In the midst of uncertainty, despair and sadness, Cancer people seek retreat and solitude. Just like real crabs.
> One mood, Crabby, is very much prevalent in these people. The person who gave a cranky answer when you asked for the time, the one who nearly snapped your head off when you asked him to pas the salt, was, probably a Cancer person going through one of their occasional crabby spells that makes 'em hate the world. They're not angry with you, just disappointed with life. They'll get over it, and be their own sweet, gentle and understanding self the moon changes.
> All Lunar people have enormously expresive features. A thousand moods play fleetingly across their faces in the course of a conversation. Do you know someone who occasionaly snaps at you irritably, and then hides when you hurt em? Do they normally treat you with gentle consideration? If they're gruff, yet kindly, a fascinating convertaionalist with deep wellsof creative imagination, that person was probably born in late June or July.
> Cancerian compassion is deep and highly intuitive. There's hradly a secret he can't strip naked, if he choses. It's a one way street however. They'll eventually soak up everything about you but you will never be able to guess their private thoughts. Thjey gaurd their inner feelings carefully from preying eyes. The typical Cancerians never likes to discuss their personal lives, but is delighted to hear about yours which is very much in sync with the Scorpion traits. Cancerian seldom judge, they only gather, absorbs and reflects back.
> Although, the crab gives back emotions like a mirror, they wont give up tangible things without a struggle.
Take a stroll around a beach and observe the habits of a real crab. When he grab hold of an object, he will hang on for dear life. He's rather lose a claw than let go. If the crab does sacrifice a claw, he grows a new one, so he can grab hold once more with the same tenacity and let that be a lesson to you when you are trying to get a Cancerain to give up on something he or she really wants. They will never relinquish a treasured object, and that can range all the way from beloved friend to a relative to a title or position, from an old tiny memorable photo to a pair of frazzled house slippers to anything possible.
> Cancer's heart is too soft not to touched by someone's need. They truly care and want to help. But wil sit back cautiously and wait to see if their's anyone else who wants to move in first. Why should they foolishly squander their precious time or money if its not that important. When all other sources fail, and when no help seems to come in, Cancer will rescue the struggler at the last minute. It's self preservation, not selfishness or unkindness. The crab's heart is soft at the core, under his hard, conservative and protective outer shell. But there's just so much of their time, money and emotions which needs to be given, and thereby they chose to distribute each one of em wisely. Yet, in their minds, It's only sensible to watch and wait before plunging. No one can call this person impulsive for any matter, whatsoever.
> Male or Female, Cancerians love their home with a respect bordering on reverence. No devout high priest of ancient times ever considered their altar more scared than Cancer considers the place when they hang their old hats. You're liable to notice a hanging on their wall with the words, "There's no place like home, be it ever so humble". Well, that is written backward, but one of their little girls made it that way and to them it's a msterpiece, a pearl beyond price. So, do not forget to admire it often. Sometime, make a point of noticing the expression on the face of the crab when they return back home from a long trip. Pure ecstasy.
> You'll often find them on the water. If not swimming , then water skiing or simply wading. It's as though canserians have a special private dream that has been lost out there somewhere in the deep waters, and they keep seeking it. Whenever it is, they are never as moodt when happily walking their own deck in the tennis shoes they bought when they graduated from college, well, for obvious reasons, don't suggest them to buy new ones. There's one thing you have to understand about these people, If it's old, it has value, If it's new, it's suspect.
> They can be flirtatios and fickle and can also be senitive and loyal. When they're sad and wishful, you will want to put your arm around them and soothe away their meloncholy, and when they're showing off their sharp and intuitive mind, you might stare at them in awe. Their caution will impress you and pessimism will leave you in depression.
> Unfortunately, they can be regular dishrag diparaging anyone and everyone and splashing gloom in big, blue drops all over your ego. Yet, at other times they can be as funny as Jim Carrey himself. No wonder you don't know whether to give them a cold shoulder or a warm hug for that matter. The temperature changes of a Cancerian can leave you all puzzled, First you shiver in their freezing glances and then you get smothered with devotion. Their moods are the meanest when they are most afriad of loosing someone or something. Maybe it's you. Reassure them that you're theirs a thousand and one times. Words of love is like music to their ears.
> A word of caution to those in love with this sun sign- Be kind to their mother or they never gonna forgive you. Mother is a lady they won't like to see abused. They never seem to see any humor in mother-in-law jokes as well. And never read her five-year-diary. It probably has a lock and a key, anyway. Cancerains like to keep secrets. They're not much for true confessions, anless you're the one doing the confessing.
> They might never overwhelm your friends with their vivacity and sparkling flattery but wont ever fail to impress you with their charm. July people prefer to save their deepest emotions for those closest to them. After you've dated other girls and boys and compared them to this Cancerian, you may go running right back to this male/female crab and beg them to hang on again. Tightly.
> Their's a strange brand of possessiveness that's unshakable but never aggressive. They know, in their little heart, that no matter how far away you go to follow your dream, you'll always come back again and they'll be there waiting patiently. Their eyes will be still beautiful with the moon magic you remember, the kitchen will still smell deliciously of warm spices and they will ask you how things went, how you feel. If things went badly and feel miserable, they will tell a joke to get you a lugh. They they will fill your tummy after you've relaxed, gently wiping away all your worries with their sensible advice and rich humor. Later, in the firelight, you ll like at his/her serene face and ask yourself, "Is she/he a moon delicacy or a lovable loony breeze?" But the answer won't really seem important anymore.
> There's a touch of moon madness in every Cancerian. They know a wild and secret place where two lilies and seven white roses grow among the iris. Sometimes the memory of this farway garden causes them to explode with laughter and then it also causes them to weep with sadness. Cancer patiently gathers the emaralds, pearls and moonstones carelessly dropped in the sand by others, as they wait for the tides to wash their silver dreams ashore.
