It was her I was missing!

Its cynical, the way I pretended to be strong and mature when she was leaving, the words that were left unspoken 'coz I never thought it will turn out to be so hard thereafter, the smile I masked over my otherwise unlit dull face, and that shallow confidence with which I said, "Now the room is all mine, how cool is that".
However, I knew it was neither a moment to celebrate nor the one to crib about. Not an ordinary thing.
I felt a sudden blood rush inside, but I cared less, the voices in my head were dying to speak to me, but I was too busy to act smart, my heart cried bidding her goodbye, but all I could hear was my brain which tried to hack me somehow.
Days went by and I found new shores to dig in , making my-lost-self understand that it was perhaps meant to be this way. Talking to her on the phone, I felt good. Making her laugh at my silly jokes was a treat as well, visiting her was something I looked forward to.
All this while, I've been thinking, why am I not okay, what's wrong with me, why I don't feel enough excitement receiving my first salary, why everything is so plain and crooked and boring, why I feel the need of stillness in this fast pace world.

I searched for answers within and outside, and then I realized, It was nothing but her, I was missing.

Check out Hey soul Sister by Train in the meanwhile.
Have a good one, mates :)

Don't walk away, when the heart is yearning

I read it from a boy's perspective, and I feel amazing right now. :)

  9. How much ever we fight and quarrel with a person close to us, when they leave they leave behind a big, sad hole in our lives. We just have to learn to hold on tight and never let go.

    Sweet post<3
